TezAsia Hackathon: A series of workshops will be organised to familiarise the candidates with the development on Tezos. These workshops will cover topics on Smart contract development, Token-standards, Integration libraries, Tezos wallets and Tezos Blockchain in general. All that you need to know about TezAsia Hackathon 3.0
TezAsia Hackathon 3.0 is a pan-Asia hackathon that invites developers from all walks of life to come and participate in a month-long event. The primary objective of the hackathon is to empower developers from all over Asia by providing them with the opportunity to learn and build projects on the Tezos Blockchain.
This is a chance for all Dev-Heads who are with a competitive streak to showcase their tier-one game and also get a chance to win hefty cash prizes. TezAsia Hackathon aims to build an innovation-driven culture by solving real-world challenges. Showcase your skills and win amazing prizes worth over $30K, grants worth up to $100K* and an opportunity to get hired and work with the best-existing dApps & Tezos entities in the ecosystem.
Eligibility for TezAsia Hackathon:
- This hackathon is open to ALL – newcomers, advanced coders, students, working professionals, blockchain enthusiasts, and others
- Candidates can register individually or in teams of a maximum of 4 members

Submission Guidelines for TezAsia Hackathon:
All candidates will need to submit their project repositories on GitHub in order to get incentivized.
- Login to GitHub: Click Here
- Fork the TezAsia-2K23 repository to your GitHub profile.
- After forking the repository, clone the repository to your pc/desktop, and then create a folder with your TeamName as the folder name.
- Push your code base in this folder. This should include all your files for the front and backend.
- Make sure to include your smart contract code in a file and upload it here.
- In your TeamName folder, make sure to include these details in the README.md.
- After you have pushed your files and code base, create an issue in the main repository as “Issue: Team Name: Submission”
- Issue description should include a small glimpse of your project: What is it doing? and How are you trying to achieve it?
Themewise – Prizes & Rewards at TezAsia Hackathon:
Small but great:
Build a simple dApp on the Tezos technology stack with a clear goal. On this track, no project is too small to compete. Web3 has again opened up the world for individual developers to create meaningful change with nothing but a computer and a dream.
- DeFi:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $900
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $600
- The second Runner-up will get a cash prize of $300
- NFT & Collectibles:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $810
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $540
- The second Runner-up will get a cash prize of $270
- NFT-Fi:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $1200
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $900
- Rollup Track:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $1800
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $1200
- Gaming Track:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $1440
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $960
- The second Runner-up will get a cash prize of $480
- Tools & Wallets Track:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $750
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $510
- The second Runner-up will get a cash prize of $330
- The third Runner-up will get a cash prize of $210
- Web3 integration with Web2 Track:
- The winner will get a cash prize of $450
- The runner-up will get a cash prize of $300
- The second Runner-up will get a cash prize of $150
Disrupt all the things:
Lay the foundations of a major Tezos-based project, and show us what you are truly capable of. This track is intended for teams with a disruptive vision, to showcase a PoC / MVP of their dream Web3 product.
- DeFi: The top 2 projects will get a cash prize of $1200
- NFT & Collectibles: The top 2 projects will get a cash prize of $990
- NFT-Fi: The best project will get a cash prize of $2100
- Rollup Track: The best project will get a cash prize of $2400
- Gaming Track: The best project will get a cash prize of $1920
- Tools & Wallets Track: The top 2 projects will get a cash prize of $900
- Web3 integration with Web2 Track: The top 2 projects will get a cash prize of $540
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to begin developing Web3 projects on the most advanced platforms right away! Prior blockchain coding experience is beneficial, but not essential! Internships, PPOs, small grants, and other possibilities are also available to any builders who participate and make a valid submission. All just a step away!
