TCS has announced 40000 hiring for batch 2024. TCS will offer for two designation TCS Ninja and TCS Digital. TCS is yet to Announce the date for TCS National Qualifier Test for 2024 Batch Candidates. Registration may start in June or July and the exam will be conduct at August/September. From Last Few Year TCS NQT for 2023 Batch or 2022 Batch was Delayed due to Covid Situation, but this year TCS Ninja and TCS Digital for 2024 Batch Candidates will be on Time.

TCS Hiring 2024 Batch – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the TCS NQT are as follows:

  • The candidate must be an engineering graduate or postgraduate in any stream.
  • The candidate must have completed their degree in 2022 or later.
  • The candidate must have an aggregate of 60% or 6 CGPA in Class Xth, Class XIIth, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination.
  • Students should not have more than 1 active backlog / arrear/ ATKT at the time of appearing for the TCS Selection process in the highest qualification.
  • Students should be of 18 to 28 years of age to participate in the TCS Ninja hiring process

It’s worth noting that TCS also conducts the NQT for non-engineering graduates, such as B.Sc, BCA, and MCA graduates. However, the eligibility criteria for these candidates may differ slightly from the ones mentioned above.

TCS NQT Exam will held in following manner :

  • The test is held in adaptive format.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • Aptitude part comprises of questions from basic mathematical concepts, common reasoning topics, English grammar, and Reading comprehension passages.
  • Programming Logic contains questions related to the fundamental programming concepts.
  • Coding Test section comprises of coding questions on Real Time programming. There is an option to choose to code from the languages – C/C++/Java/ Perl and Python.
  • Overall the level of the paper is moderate. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.

TCS interview process is divided into 3 rounds.

Technical interview round at TCS

Questions are asked based on following 2 options

  1. CV based questions – Like questions based on education or based on past project or internship.
  2. Profile based questions – Questions based on profile of departments where candidate is likely to be recruited. For example- In BFSI, candidate is likely to be asked questions based on banking industry tools and softwares like Block-chain, crypto-currency, cyber security etc.
Managerial round at TCS

Managerial round at TCS is basically behavioral interview round and test the fast thinking capacity at difficult situation. There are 2 sets of questions that are asked in managerial round at TCS

  1. Questions about past work, team collaboration, meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, negotiations etc
  2. Questions about situation handling in tough scenarios.
HR round at TCS

HR round is final round at TCS recruitment process. Candidates are asked general questions to check their suitability regarding role, position, location, salary etc. Candidates are expected to be flexible, though you can negotiate in this round.
